Highly-accurate EDM and Advanced Angle Calibration
RED-Tech EDM is a reliable technology from Sokkia that outperforms competing instruments with its tight beam signal and strong returns from dark or wet surfaces. In only .9 seconds, this ultra-narrow EDM beam precisely measures walls, corners and through fence openings and tree branches. In reflectorless mode, this survey total station measures up to 1,640 feet away and approximately 16,400 feet to a standard prism with an incredible 2mm+2ppm accuracy. Its green or red guide light is coaxial, providing fast and accurate aiming.
Featuring the groundbreaking Independent Angle Calibration System (IACS) technology, the Sokkia FX101 has the ability to adjust its own angle measurement system. Motion clamp and tangent screw also ensure stable angle positions even when pressing the touchscreen and keyboard. And with a press of a button, this Sokkia total station can quickly take measurements using the EDM trigger key.
Dual-axis compensation ensures accurate leveling even on rough terrain and a built-in laser plummet with 5 brightness levels allows for quick instrument setting in all lighting conditions.
Integrated MAGNET Field Software
With stakeout, roading and coordinate geometry (COGO) applications, MAGNET Field delivers seamless workflow by eliminating the need for a data collector. This cloud-based data collection software provides a productive graphical interface that optimizes the large color touchscreen display of the Sokkia FX total station for calculations and viewing of points and lines. The onboard Windows CE 6.0 operating system also offers a familiar environment with large touch icons for easy onscreen navigation.
Long-range Bluetooth Connectivity
Featuring Bluetooth Class 1 wireless technology, this survey instrument enables reliable communication with a handheld computer up to 1,000 feet away! This offers flexibility for stakeout and other field applications that require the use of a field controller at the prism pole. The system becomes very productive, similar to a robotic system where the instrument man simply needs to follow, aim, and focus on the remote prism.
Topcon TSshield Security System
The FX total station has a telematics card installed that communicates to the Sokkia servers every day for software updates. This security system also enables the user to lock the operation of the FX when the instrument is lost or stolen by logging into the TSshield website.
Communication Ports and Long Battery Life
Conveniently save and transfer files to your PC or data collector with the Sokkia FX's large 500 MB internal memory and RS-232C serial port. It also has a USB port for up to 8GB of survey data. The FX-102 works up to 20 hours on a single charge and is dustproof and water resistant with its IP-65 rating.
For field operations that require a data collector, the FX-102 total station can be used with any of Sokkia's field controllers, such as the Juniper Mesa, SHC2500, SHC250, SHC236 and SHC25.
This Sokkia total station package comes with a lens cap, lens hood, lens brush, tool kit, USB stick, carry case with straps, adjusting pin, cleaning cloth, battery, battery charger and a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
